Nice

I think you should throw the bass down an octave and make the whole thing a loop instead of a song that fades out. Besides that, this song is pretty cool. Sounds like it would be in a Mega Man game.

DerpCow responds:

thank you for the advice.

lol

This is a very fun song! The break is great, too.

Skullfy responds:

Thanks man!

Cool

I like it a lot, but there are some guitar soundfonts that sound pretty decent with certain distortion effects on top of them. You might want to experiment with that. The midi guitar reminds me of the guitar sounds of the 16-bit era, though, so maybe it's not a bad thing. The synth work is good and you wrote the lead very well.

GameMusicPersonthing responds:

always enjoy a comment from ya man, n` thanks

Yeeeaaaahhh good vibes

The brassy type stuff sounds deliciously fake. I really mean that as a compliment. Paired with the pulse synth it just gives me an excellent video game vibe.

Or4nges responds:

Hahaha, I was going for the 'cheesey' mark on this one. Good to know I hit it.

Needs more 8bit fun

It's a nice little tune. It sounds like everything is Tweakbench VSTs though. Whatever program you use, I'm sure you could make one osc synths of pulse waves of different widths and triangle waves, allowing for pitch slides, fake delays (like in trackers), vibratos, and other fun nonsense. Though the triangle waves generally need some bit crushing for that NES sound.

Calamaistr responds:

i used magical 8bit and superfamicon chip and on top fruity filter retro with adjusted values.
Im not trying to realistically reproduce anything though :)

Still, id badly like a vst with accurate gameboy chip and a supernes one so if you know any pm me.

thanks for the review :)

Nice little tune.

Heavier percussion and the vocoder would help it a lot, but that's just me. Nice bass and bleeps and bloops.

MadameLeota responds:

Thanks dude!

once I add the vocoder I'll try mixing up the percussion. thanks!

well

It's perfect for what it is supposed to be. The instruments sound really nice. Are they Soundfonts or... what? Shame on 0 bombers.

laminationman responds:

These instruments came from my YPT-500 electronic keyboard.

Wow!

This is fantastic, as was the story. Someone needs to animate a video to this NOW. Great work. Keep it up!

Kaggen responds:

Thanks man :> Would do it myself I i was capable of it ^^ But working on that part now, would love to be able to visualize the visions I get in my head when I listen to my own or others music.

Hi again!

Was just wondering what you've been up to. This is a sick submission, it's way different and the instrument choices are just perfect (well, maybe not the piano, but that could just be me). I love it! Quite a bit.

darphfluffy responds:

haha thanks man yeah i know the piano isnt the greatest and if i get around o mastering it ill fix dat piano

Great!

This is fantastic. Love the glitching lead. May I ask, though, did you mean the title to be "Glitchert" rather than "Glichert"?

FrogCommander responds:

cuz i use a dblue glicht and free filter glicht+filter =glichert is like a fusion xD!!!!!
